Evan and Katelyn saw some videos and read a scientific paper on how you can turn wood clear (by chemically bleaching the Lignin, which binds the cellulose together and gives wood its color).
After a lot of trial and error, they were about to make a thin piece of wood clear-ish. As they point out, if a couple of amateurs in their garage can do this…
