Several years ago, making shop mallets and trading them with fellow makers became a trend among YouTube makers. I still think it’s a really cool gift idea.
In this Make Something video, Dave shows how to make a dirt-simple out of walnut. OK, dirt-simple if you don’t count turning it on a lathe and using a laser to burn your logo into it. But if you don’t have these tools, you can create a square handle or use hand tools to round yours.
