The Great Search: Resistive touch screen driver replacement for STMPE610/STMPE811 #TheGreatSearch #DigiKey @DigiKey @Adafruit
The Great Search (video) is a new series of videos focused on searching the Digi-Key catalog to narrow down to the parts you want to buy. This week:
Like many great parts, our go-to resistive touch controller chip, the STMPE family, has finally gone completely EOL – we are no longer able to source this part. Time to find a replacement! Let’s find one with good pricing and Linux Kernel compatibility. Will we be able to find one that is both I2C and SPI? Tune into The Great Search to find what we picked out for sampling!
