Rebinding Lord of the Rings as a Righteously Magical, Glowing Tome
Down in the NerdForge, Martina and Hansi took at old collected Lord of the Rings book and gave it a new home.
They’ve done a lot of bookbinding videos before, but this is the first time they used LED filament lighting, UV resin, and home metal-cast hardware.
In my weekly maker tips newsletter, I’ve been running a Skill Set series on molding and casting, where readers follow along and show their work. Watching this video, and seeing them trying silver metal casting for the first time, I’m thinking maybe we should do that as our next skill. I’ve always wanted to learn how to do it.
