I2C Rotary Encoder with SeeSaw tester made from a Metro M0
This new upcoming board is a I2C-compatible Rotary Encoder, and is powered with a SAMD09 processor running the seesaw firmware https://github.com/adafruit/seesaw
To program it we use another SAMD board, this time a Metro M0, to run SWD DAP code https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_DAP that programs the chip and then runs the I2C test. We know it works when the NeoPixel goes rainbow! – video.
