NetworkChuck on YouTube presents the dangers of a “bad USB”, often called a Rubber Ducky. Rather than being a USB flash drive (as they look like one), it impersonates a keyboard, bypassing security and possibly doing all sorts of malicious things.
You can also harness this power for good (configuring a bunch of school or work computers, perhaps). Learn more about these devices and how to make your own with a $4 Raspberry Pi Pico you can get from Adafruit.
