The MTA Portal shows the train arrival times for your stations #MatrixPortal #CircuitPython @MTA

How often does one want to know when the next train will arrive at nearby transit stations? A lot! GitHub user alejandrorascoven has posted on GitHub just such a project for the New York MTA.

The display uses the Adafruit Matrix Portal Starter Kit – ADABOX 016 Essentials kit which includes a beautiful 64×32 RGB LED Matrix panel and the Adafruit Matrix Portal board to gather data and display it along with all the needed accessories.

The CircuitPython code is available on GitHub, drag and drop. Several configuration variables help you dial in the display.
