Take a Tour of the EMU Spacesuit with Thomas Pesquet #WearableWednesday
Not only will you learn about EMU spacesuits, but you’ll also learn about cameras, lighting systems, visors, cooling garments, and equipment and crew locks from Thomas Pesquet in this video from European Space Agency, ESA on YouTube:
In this video, Thomas provides an overview of the EMU spacesuit used for US spacewalks and its different components. The spacesuits can be adjusted depending on an astronaut’s size, but the gloves are customised to ensure each astronaut has maximum mobility in their hands and fingers.
