Adam meets one of the adorable robot puppets made for the cult-favorite 1987 science fiction film *Batteries Not Included, which was a product of the ILM model shop where Adam eventually worked. Even though it was made over 30 years ago, this puppet has held up very well, showing intricately hand machined components and clear graphical details that the ILM artist meticulously applied all those years ago.
