Jasper Sikken has a thread on Twitter showing encasing various electronic parts in epoxy. It makes for interesting designs, suitable for things like paperweights, decorations, and jewelry. It appears that a rubbery ice cube tray was used. Others have posted their creations in the same thread.

Adafruit has several epoxy tutorials also as well as custom keycaps.

Adafruit sells silicone molds for custom keyboard keys in a variety of sizes and shapes (video below)
