Shed

Donating to the Shed will help artists and audiences discover, share, and create –

Here at The Shed, our goal is to advance art forms, address the urgent issues of our time, and make our work impactful, sustainable, and relevant. Though the pandemic has put this young arts institution to the test, we’re more determined than ever to show what it is to collaborate across art forms and be a genuine, welcoming home for all audiences.

This Giving Tuesday, please consider making a donation to the Shed Fund.

Your gift to the Shed Fund will help artists and audiences discover, share, and create. We’re grateful to you for being part of our community as we continue to build this one-of-a-kind institution and look forward to seeing you at The Shed again soon.

The Shed is a new cultural institution of and for the 21st century. It produces and welcome innovative art and ideas, across all forms of creativity, to build a shared understanding of our rapidly changing world and a more equitable society. In its highly adaptable building on Manhattan’s west side, The Shed brings together established and emerging artists to create new work in fields ranging from pop to classical music, painting to digital media, theater to literature,
and sculpture to dance. The Shed seeks opportunities to collaborate with cultural peers and community organizations, work with likeminded partners, and provide unique spaces for private events. As an independent non-profit that values invention, equity, and generosity, The Shed is committed to advancing art forms, addressing the urgent issues of our time, and making its work impactful, sustainable, and relevant to the local community, the cultural sector, New York City,
and beyond.

A gift to the Shed Fund helps us produce and welcome innovative art and ideas, across all forms of creativity. The Shed is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and contributions are tax-deductible.
