Part mood light part world timer. This globe lets you check the time anywhere in the world with a touch! Fun project from aauleear30 on Instructables. Thanks so much for sharing:
The idea is to use the sensor
for when you touch a country, and the LCD Screen will light up and display
the time in that country. Each time the sensor is activated, the globe also
lights up a dark blue color to mimic the color of the ocean. To print the
countries on the globe, I used a Vinyl Printer and modeled a 2D globe
mapping onto a 3D surface.
