WipperSnapper adds MCP9601 Thermocouple Amplifier Support #NoCode #IoT @MicrochipMakes
We’ve added support for the MCP9601 (MCP96L01) I2C Thermocouple Amplifier to the latest version of Adafruit.io WipperSnapper, our no-code IoT platform. Thermocouples are super handy for Internet-of-Things projects which require monitoring higher temperatures such as a BBQ/Grill temperature monitor, oven temperature monitor, homebrewing monitor, SMT reflow oven monitor, fridge temperature minder, or a soldering iron temperature monitor.
Simply wire this sensor up to your board (or snap-to-connect with the STEMMA connectors on the Adafruit MCP9601 Breakout), load the latest WipperSnapper firmware on your board and create a new MCP9601 thermocouple amplifier component. Data from the MCP9601 will be sent – without programming!
Have an amazing project to share? The Electronics Show and Tell is every Wednesday at 7:30pm ET! To join, head over to YouTube and check out the show’s live chat and our Discord!
