The CG animated title sequence for Severance is weird and wonderful and I think it sets the tone beautifully for this show about work-life balance. I’m loving this series, and not just for the Dasher 2 terminals.
The sequence designer, extraweg, a.k.a. Oliver Latta says,
An animated intro that illustrates the struggle of this main character navigating life split between professional and personal dilemmas.
The visual work represents the mystical journey of these different identities memories of experiences, grief, loss, and control in one body through the use of surrealism and subtle ironic humor.
