It really is amazing what you can do with LEGO tech. On the Brick Technology channel, they show how they built a treadmill device for testing LEGO vehicle suspension systems.
They then build vehicles with different suspension types (McPherson strut, semi-independent rear, torsion bar front, torque tube, and leaf spring) to test them out.
