A Guitar Patched Through a Modular Synth #MusicMonday
Over on his YouTube channel, Andrew Huang enlisted Rob Scallon to find out just how wild an electric guitar can sound if it’s patched through a modular synth. Here’s more from SonicState:
Using a modular synth as a giant effects pedal, Andrew Huang and Rob Scallon explore the possibilities of processing an electric guitar, with some expansive results. Making chains of sequential effects as well as using effects in isolation, they come up with some inspiring and wild tones! Using reverbs, delays, pitch changes, and many more – Rob (mostly) plays the guitar while Andrew is at the helm of the modular spaceship.
