Follow along as HomeMadeModern goes from positive prototype to silicone mold to completed table in this ~10 min video on YouTube:
I am making furniture out of broken glass and epoxy resin. Recycling glass into furniture is something I am interested in for 2 reasons. 1. It can serve as an aggregate to reduce the amount of epoxy needed to make translucent pieces. 2. I sometimes break glass for some of my concrete molds and this gives me a way to recycle that waste. A bonus is that the glass acts as sort of a heat sink and I can pour the epoxy resin deeper without fear of it overheating.
