Call it a guilty pleasure, but I love looking at projects that are secret hiding places people build into the walls, furniture, and doors of their homes. And I know I’m not alone. When I worked at Make:, one of the most traffic’d articles on the website was a round-up of such projects.
This video has a few hiding places I have not seen before. I especially like the desk with a drop down hatch underneath. When I was a teen, I had a bedroom desk that had a hollow cavity inside when you removed the drawer. I used it to hide my journal… and stash other stuff.
