Cat Finder Tile Sticker 2022 (Flexible Filament) #3DThursday #3DPrinting

eunmac shares:

This is a FLEXIBLE PLA model for attaching a TILE 2022 Sticker onto your cat (or small dog) collar.

This model has NOT been designed to work with normal (hard) PLA/BS filament. If anyone wants to mod this feel free!

I prefer the flexible filament as I think it is better/stronger/durable and more comfortable for the cat/pet.

Using flexible filament you can push your tile sticker in and it will hold firmly in place.

I printed mine at 225 degrees on an Ender 3, printing quite slowly (Speed 30).
Worked well with a 50 or 100% infill.

Note – It is VERY strong with flexible filament. This thing is not going to snap break or fall off!

Cat is not bothered – and the tile is about the smallest tracker on the market with good battery life (3 years).

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!

Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
