Our popular little 3V buck converter breakout (https://www.adafruit.com/product/4711) uses the AP3429A (https://www.digikey.com/short/w9735n7t), and it works quite well…except now its NRND and the lead time is stretching into mid 2024! Looking around we found a good alternative with stock, the TLV62569 (https://www.digikey.com/short/8wvn2t19). The TLV is pin compatible and has similar specifications with 2A output as well. We swapped our breakout with some hot air and it worked nicely on our benchtop load so we’re re-ordering the PCB with new silkscreen on the back so we can have a good replacement product for folks to use.
