Chip Shortage (video) is a new feature video by Adafruit’s Ladyada to highlight items that are in short supply or possibly “unobtainium” (with no known return date to the market).

These are used in many Adafruit boards as it’s perfect for powering any number of designs such as sensors and more.

Adafruit is looking for a cool 100,000 pieces to continue manufacturing with this highly used part.
