We’ve released Beta 40 of our no-code IoT firmware, WipperSnapper, which includes support for Adafruit QT Py ESP32-C3. This is the first build of WipperSnapper that uses the ESP32-C3 32-bit RISC-V single-core processor with 4MB of Flash memory and 400 KB of SRAM.
What is the WipperSnapper firmware and Adafruit.io?
WipperSnapper is a firmware designed to turn any WiFi-capable board into a capable Internet-of-Things device without programming a single line of code. WipperSnapper connects to Adafruit IO, a web platform designed (by us at Adafruit!) to display, respond, and interact with your project’s data.
WipperSnapper can easily be installed on the QT Py ESP32-C3 by plugging in your board and navigating to the WipperSnapper Firmware Web Uploader page. After installing WipperSnapper, we suggest following this Usage page to get up and running with the basics of Adafruit.io and WipperSnapper.
