Matt at DIY Perks strikes again. This guy does some of the most clever, meticulous builds on YouTube. His videos are like visual ASMR.
For this project, Matt wanted to create a speaker system for his desk instead of using bulky bookshelf speakers or sound bars which send all of the sound into your torso instead of your ears.
So, built a gorgeous sound deck that goes beneath his monitor out of cheap, recycled bamboo flooring. By making it himself, he got to choose exactly the speaker configuration he wanted and what electronics to drive it. The finish product looks and sounds amazing.
