Assembling of homemade mobile 6502 computer: PERSEUS-9

I have built myself a dual-CPU mobile computer using a 6502 CPU. The purpose is to use a homemade floating-point interpreter for convenience.

The 1st CPU runs the interpreter in the main computer part, while the 2nd CPU acts as an I/O processor for the keyboard and LED display module.

Specifications, Dimensions: 262 mm x 182 mm x 55 mm, 1.8kg. Enclosure material: die-cast aluminum. Power source: 5V power supply or Ni-MH battery x 4 . CPU: R6502A x 2 (clock 2MHz). Main computer memory. Battery backup SRAM 16 kB (user program, system variable). PROM 8 kB (interpreter system). Display: 40 x 7 characters LED display (HCMS-2912 x 35). Keyboard: 48 keys, (DS660RCW x 48).

System software: homemade floating-point interpreter, single-precision type, with built-in elementary functions.

A detailed description including schematics and source code is available on Hackaday and an article on gajethub..
