Track Your Pet With a GPS Pet Collar #WearableWednesday
Wearables are for pets too! Instructables user drjhxie built a GPS collar for their cat to check out what he got up to while outside and shared the build:
If you have an outdoor cat or dog, you’ve probably wondered where it goes during the day. Do they hang around outside the house or go on long adventures exploring the neighborhood? To keep an eye on my cat, I made a GPS cat-tracking collar that would log his location during the day, then let me send the data to a computer!
Every Wednesday is Wearable Wednesday here at Adafruit! We’re bringing you the blinkiest, most fashionable, innovative, and useful wearables from around the web and in our own original projects featuring our wearable Arduino-compatible platform, FLORA. Be sure to post up your wearables projects in the forums or send us a link and you might be featured here on Wearable Wednesday!
Have an amazing project to share? The Electronics Show and Tell is every Wednesday at 7:30pm ET! To join, head over to YouTube and check out the show’s live chat and our Discord!
