Speed Learning Blender and Competing for a Golden Donut
Martina and Hansi of NerdForge have been wanting to learn Blender. But also not wanting to learn Blender. I am in the same boat. I don’t really know any 3D design program and I ache to learn one so that I can create my own 3D printed miniatures and terrain. But like them, every time I poke my head in, I run in intimidated terror.
To get over their learning fears, they created a 100-hour challenge between them to learn Blender, create three designs, and then let their Patreon members decide the winner. Winner gets a golden donut to eat, loser has to make dinner for a week.
It was nice to get to know Hansi better. He is usually behind the camera.
