Specifically, a new page, “Minimizing Redraw Flicker,” has been added to get cleaner updates on many GFX-compatible displays. For example, when showing live updates from a sensor, rather than clearing the whole screen and printing new numbers, there are ways to have new values overwrite the old ones in-place. This gives projects a more polished appearance with just a little extra effort. Nothing actually new in the library, these techniques just haven’t been well documented before.
