Making a Pepper’s Ghost Illusion Inspired by Disney’s Haunted Mansion
On VanOaksProps, he makes his first attempt at a Pepper’s Ghost effect (where a mirror and projection source is used to create the illusion of a hologram-like image).
He decides to make a ghostly apparition in a jar, inspired by the ghost dancing ballroom scene in Disney’s Haunted Mansion.
He uses cheap and basic components and an iPad Mini to project the image from a faux book beneath the jar.
He’s basically happy with the results, but already has ideas for how he can make it better.
