NPR Announces the Fifth Annual Student Podcast Challenge
Last week NPR announced their Student Podcast Challenge is returning for the fifth year! The challenge is open for entries starting January 6, 2023 through April 28, 2023. All entires must be submitted by an educator or student who is 18+. As a fun bonus to college students, NPR also confirmed the College Podcast Challenge will be happening September 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023.
One important rule to keep in mind is that the maximum length of your podcast is eight minutes, and longer entries will be disqualified. After years of listening to student podcasts, we’ve learned that shorter is better.
