Slap Chop and the Never Ending Quest to Paint Miniatures Quick
Many of us who paint gaming miniatures either loathe the tedium of it or actually like it but never have enough time to paint all of the minis we use in our games.
This had led to all sorts of speed painting products and painting techniques. The latest is called Slap Chop.
Slap Chop is where you prime the model black, drybrush with light gray from top down, then drybrush the edges with white. From here, you cover the model with either Army Painter Speed Paint or Citadel Contrast Paints (formulations designed to create different depth of color with one application). And that’s it!
Using this method, you can paint a figure to a tabletop standard in around 15 minutes per model.
