Yowza. Imagine trying to machine watchmaking hardware. In this video, we see Mike Godfrey machining a 0.6mm screw, so tiny you can barely see it. He uses a watchmaker’s lathe which spins at a much higher RPM than a normal-size lathe.
I love how Mike says he spends nearly as much time searching for the tiny components he’s made than the time it took to make them.
