Turning a Cheap Pneumatic Press into an Injection Molding Machine
I now have a 3D resin printer, easy access to an FDM printer, and as of this past Christmas, I have a vacuum forming machine. So, naturally in my quest to rule the world through desktop fabrication, I’m fancying building a tabletop injection molding machine.
There are a number of projects for this on YouTube. Here is one of the best I’ve seen. When all is said and done, expect to pay around $800 for the parts. Hopefully your pneumatic press won’t arrive in as sorry a state as Kurt’s did.
Have an amazing project to share? The Electronics Show and Tell is every Wednesday at 7:30pm ET! To join, head over to YouTube and check out the show’s live chat and our Discord!
