Making custom arcade buttons with Cherry MX switches #3Dprinting #3DThursday @TheTrain24
TheTrain (@TheTrain24 on Twitter) posts about 3D printing ones own arcade-style round buttons. The mechanism uses normal-sized Cherry MX switches, although they’d like to try with Choc v1 switches.
Custom buttons are nearly complete! Thanks to @bjartskular2for the original button STL. These take MX switches (with RGB LED cutouts) and let you fit the entire thing into a 16mm thick enclosure (from rim to bottom). Once I verify a few more things they will be up on GitHub.
