Love vintage operating systems but still want access to ChatGPT? This project might be for you!

Shared by Jordan Trbuhovic on Manticore Software. Jordan writes:

I built a desktop application for Mac OS 9 to interact with ChatGPT. This application allows you to use ChatGPT on systems where the internet is now mostly non-functional.

Details:

LegacyAI is a ChatGPT client designed specifically for older Mac OS systems.

LegacyAI runs on Mac OS 8.6 – 10.6.8, and allows you to converse with OpenAI’s ChatGPT from your Desktop. You can choose AI models based on your requirements, and can even set it to use your own customised proxy server (if required).

LegacyAI is an efficient tool for anyone seeking an AI-powered personal assistant on their older Macintosh.
