The design now has some more clearance for a better assembly. Also, I added a little more thickness to the top and bottom ball parts for better durability.
Greetings,
my son is finally old enough to enjoy playing the Pokemon-Boardgame that I created, which you can find in my designs. However, after reprinting it, I realized that I needed to put in more effort to refine certain elements for better printability and durability. To start, I focused on the pokeball and decided to offer a Stand-Alone download for just the Pokeball. It is relatively easy to print with minimal support, except for the upper and lower ball parts.

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!
Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
