Make a Hygge Gauntlet for Cozy Color Therapy #WearableWednesday
Embrace hygge and turn your favorite fingerless gloves into a Hygge Gauntlet! Better yet, knit up a new pair just for this project! Here’s more from Team LL Studios: Lauren Busser, Linnette Martinez on Hackster.io:
The Hygge Gauntlet is a hand-knit gauntlet that uses a heart rate variability sensor to emit color therapy based on the wearer’s stress levels. This is done by using an embedded microcontroller Flora under the fabric on a series of LED lights connected by conductive thread that are programmed to respond with different colors depending on the user’s heart rate. Essentially when the user’s heartrate is above a specific threshold, the soothing colors emitted on the LEDs are attempting to help the user calm their nerves.
