As you may have already heard, actor Henry Cavil (Superman, The Witcher) and Amazon are developing content in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, in partnership with Games Workshop. But, WH40 is so vast, so space operatic — there are countless time periods and corners of the universe to explore.

In this video on The Movie Bandit, they look at some of the likely places where the TV show(s) and possible movies might be placed, from the Horus Heresy, to Dan Abnett’s Gaunt’s Ghosts and Inquisitor Eisenhorn novel series.

I really hope they use anything by Abnett as source material. As a fan of his books, I think this would instantly elevate what could otherwise present as too cartoonish and juvenile for a mainstream sci-fi-consuming audience.
