Adafruit EYESPI Pi Beret – Buttons, EYESPI and STEMMA QT

Coming soon! Sign up to be notified when these are in stock

Raspberry Pi’s make for handy lil computers, but they’re really wonderful when you can connect all sorts of nifty hardware to them: color TFT or E-Ink displays, and sensors are our go-to favorites. Even better is when we make it fast and effortless to wire these up. With this new EYESPI Pi Beret there’s no more counting pins or noodling with a breakout board. This slim HAT plugs in and gives you lots of hardware connection options so that many projects become plug-and-play.

Adafruit TSC2046 SPI Resistive Touch Screen Controller

Getting touchy performance with your screen’s touch screen? Resistive touch screens are incredibly popular as overlays to TFT and LCD displays. Only problem is they require a bunch of analog pins and you have to keep polling them since the overlays themselves are basically just big potentiometers. If your microcontroller doesn’t have analog inputs, or maybe you want just a way more elegant controller, the TSC2046 is a nice way to solve that problem.

Adafruit Swirly Aluminum Mounting Grid for 0.1″ Spaced PCBs – 2×10

With most of our dev boards, sensors and feathers now sporting plug-and-play stemma QT ports it can be very fast to put together projects with half a dozen boards snapped together. But that ease of use has one downside: now you don’t have a breadboard as a mechanical substrate… which is why we created this nifty swirly grid design to allow for easy mounting of various small microcontroller and sensor boards.

Adafruit Swirly Aluminum Mounting Grid for 0.1″ Spaced PCBs – 10×10

The grid is made out of an ‘aluminum PCB’ – we have that in quotes because while technically it is made with a PCB process for single-sided aluminum-core PCBs, there’s no actual copper on here, its just the aluminum backing, and then black soldermask with silkscreen. The aluminum is conductive both electrically and thermally – so watch out if you are using metal screws to attach stuff. Unless, that is, you want to turn the whole thing into a ground plane in which case: go for it.
