This years BornHacks badge will focus on NFC, sporting an NXP PN7150 on the reader badge and an NTAG I2C Plus on the tag badge. There is also a Raspberry Pi RP2040 for USB interface and application control.
The two badges connect together with a small cable, following the Sparkfun Qwiic / Adafruit Stemma QT standard. That connector was also on last years badge, so you might want to bring it, if you have one.
