It is hot out but modern air conditioning takes a ton of energy; ultimately heating up our planet more. This low tech method of cooling involves porous containers and evaporation. In this video I attempt to build an air conditioner out of clay! This is actually a traditional technique used to keep water cool in hot climates, but creative folks today are trying to rework this ancient water-cooling method into passive air cooling systems!
