The Artemis II moon rocket boosters arrive in Florida #Space #ArtemisII @NASA @NASAKennedy
From the mountains of Utah to the Florida Space Coast, 10 booster motor segments for the SLS rocket for Artemis II arrived at the NASA Kennedy Space Center.
Due to their weight, they traveled cross-country by rail.
Artemis II is scheduled for launch November 2024 taking four astronauts to orbit the moon. The full Artemis Program will have humans landing on the moon and establishing a lunar gateway in orbit where Mars and other missions may launch from.
