CI/CD for embedded with VS Code, Docker and GitHub Actions @McuOnEclipse
CI/CD is a strategy where code changes to an application get automatically integrated, tested and released automatically into a production environment. Erich Styger shows how to set a CI/CD pipeline, with the example of the NXP LPC55S16-EVK, using Visual Studio Code, Docker and GitHub actions.
I show how to build a simple ‘pipeline’ which gets triggered by a git action, to build the software and to release the firmware binary on GitHub.
For this, I’m using the NXP LPC55S16-EVK board, using the NXP MCUXpresso SDK with CMake and VS Code. You can find all the sources on GitHub.
