Expedition Cyclops is a group of students and researchers documenting biodiversity in Indonesia’s Cyclops Mountains. On November 9 they released a video of Attenborough’s long-beaked echidna, which had been thought to be ‘lost’ to science since 1961. The team has also made the first record of Mayr’s honeyeater since 2007 alongside records of new species of terrestrial shrimp and frogs and dozens of new insect species!
