Andy at the Workshopshed blog needed to move a milling machine to a new location, but given that it is over 60 kg, it is not an easy task.
When it arrived it was full assembled and came on a large pallet but that made it very difficult to move. So I decided that it would be best if it was split into pieces for transportation. It will mean I will have to ensure everything is correctly aligned when re-assembling. The key thing will be making sure the 3 axis are perpendicular.
Check out the careful process used in the post here.
