Blinkekatze: wirelessly mesh LED ambient lights #ESP32 #Upcycling
Blinkekatzen are a replacement PCB for commercially available silicone LED lights available via various online retailers. The lights usually contain a battery and some RGB LEDs in a cat shaped housing. Blinkekatze adds a number of RGB LEDs, sensors and wireless connectivity, enabling an interactive light display synchronized over a large number of Blinkekatzen.
The Blinkekatze PCB contains an ESP32-C3 and SK6812 RGB LEDs. They automatically connect into a network of cats and offer interactivity such as squeezing or booping the individual cats.
