MEMENTO Camera Board Users: Update CircuitPython to 9.0.0 Beta 2 or Later

MEMENTO Camera Board users:

Upgrade the version of CircuitPython on your board if it is older than CircuitPython 9.0.0 beta.2.

Older versions of CircuitPython create a CIRCUITPY drive whose size is internally inconsistent, which can cause crashes.

To update:

  1. Copy any files on CIRCUITPY that you want to preserve to your computer.
  2. Install CircuitPython 9.0.0 beta.2 or later (download from here).
  3. Run this code in the REPL from a terminal, or put it in code.py and run it: 
    import storage
storage.erase_filesystem()

    This will erase and reformat CIRCUITPY, and restart the board.
