No springs, no rafts, no multiple files… It’s all just an elegant butterfly wing hair clip design that snaps shut with a rubber band tightly twisted around it. Each wingpiece has four prongs that slide perfectly past each other through the use of a hinge piece that has been designed to let the wings rotate to a 180° angle. This allows the clip to look like a butterfly with its wings spread out when the clip is fully shut.
