Open Colorimeter and new UV Colorimeter #CircuitPython @IORodeo

IO Rodeo makes open source hardware science instruments for research & education. In 2022, they made the Open Colorimeter (left) with CircuitPython firmware. And this month (March 2024) they have the new UV Open Colorimeter (right) available for purchase in their online store. The UV Colorimeter has the same type of measurement capabilities as the Open Colorimeter but is specifically designed for applications requiring UV light absorbance measurements.

The UV Open Colorimeter is based on the Adafruit PyBadge and the  light sensor board is the AS3771 UV Sensor Board.

We have also developed a series of accompanying UV LED boards for this version of the Open Colorimeter. We currently have six different UV wavelength options available.
