Turai Botond upgraded their IKEA KALLAX with an Espressif ESP32 Development Board and Flora RGB Smart NeoPixels:
First, I formulated the goal of what I want to achieve with this project. Since this is a hobby project, my primary goal was to have fun, try new technologies, and end up with a nice product that works well.
I’ve used NeoPixels before, and because they’re easy to handle and look great, they’re ideal components for this project as well.
