I’ve seen plenty of tensegrity toys but can’t recall ever happening upon a diy tensegrity desk. My personal experience aside, this desk from Saucy Moss on Instructables looks pretty darn slick and all the steps have been published!
I’ve attached the fusion file I made. It has all the dimensions for the wood and wire. To accommodate the acrylic top, I added one wooden 1×2 in the middle on the top part to support it. I’ve attached photos to show where the i-hooks and wire rope clips go.
Once you’ve made your new desk, you’re probaly going to want to make something to put on it, right? Try out one of these guides in the Adafruit Learning System
